abstract

  • This research analyses how justice is understood and administered in a transitional justice scenario, more specifically in the special jurisdiction for peace (JEP) in relation to the crime of enforced disappearance in Colombia. This work is based on a documentary and ethnographic approach to JEP case 03, or Murders and forced disappearances presented as combat casualties by State agents. It analyses the meanings that justice and reparation for victims acquire in this context of transitional justice in relation to the crime of enforced disappearance in the case of El batallón La Popa.
