abstract

  • Some studies have analyzed the unfavorable effects of the armed conflict in Colombia and the repercussions in the social and business spheres. Currently, the government, together with the business sector, implements a model of labor inclusion for the victims of the armed and demobilized conflict, thus allowing them his reincorporation to civil life through decent employment. This project seeks to make visible the role of the Colombian business sector and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in contributing to the creation of peace. Based on this, a literary review of the background in academic research and in the business sector is carried out where there are some gaps, as well as four interviews - described in different sections - to a victim, a former paramilitary, a former guerrilla and a wounded soldier in combat. The results obtained highlight a business model in which initiatives of forgiveness, reconciliation and employability are articulated, thus being a case of administrative and business success in the contribution of peace such as the restaurant model EL CIELO, which can become replicated to other companies in the country.
