Using information at the municipal level of results of tests Saber11 this paper examines the impact of broadband on several educational results in Colombia. Specially discusses the impact of having broadband on score standardized state Colombian Saber11 test during 2006-2013. The results indicate that higher penetration rates do not increase or decrease scores, regardless of whether the treatment of broadband is public or residential. Moreover the results achieved show public broadband in schools decreases performance of pupils and it is the negative effect is greater in non-official schools
