  • At present, both companies and countries have undergone various changes, this because there are various factors such as globalization and the internationalization of the economy, which day by day provide improvements in the conditions of competition, supply, transportation, among others. But fundamentally, there is an element that is transversal so that countries and companies find themselves to be sustainable over time and competitive with other actors in the economy and that is logistics. Logistics can now be considered one of the primary strategies for an organization to succeed in the market in which it is located, generate value to their goods / services and thus find a starting point in which they can differentiate themselves. Likewise, logistics provides fundamental bases for companies to identify improve to perform both in storage, transportation, distribution according to individual needs of these. It is for this reason that this work has as its main objective to study the operation of one of the biggest success stories of logistics, Deutsche Post DHL Group, and thus to identify how from the logistics can be created relevant innovations for the structuring of the chain of value of a company, improve the competitiveness of a country and improve decision making to become more assertive and reliable, being a company or a country.
