The dairy industry continues to be one of the most important links in the Colombian economy. Being so important in the development of the economy, it constitutes a series of elements that must be studied in depth. Behind the process there is an extensive logistical work that allows the product to reach homes, which involves a well-defined chain and the work of a series of actors who concentrate on doing a good job to achieve the final goal. In addition to what the logistics process involves, it is also important to mention the cold chain, which acts as the catalyst to ensure that the product meets quality standards and that it does not lose the components that make it an essential product within homes. With this the cold chain process becomes one of the most important parts, if not the most important of everything that involves the process.
