  • This research focused on the identification of words that appear in the publications of political parties in Colombia. The tweets were searched and the words with certain tendencies were selected to analyze them in the light of the effects that such words can produce, where it was evidenced that the messages were effectively nuanced, manipulated or even misinformed, the Political Parties had a clear intention which was to discredit the adversary. For this purpose, a mixed methodology was used, the research was based on a quantitative analysis that allowed tracking the publications that appeared on Twitter in the official accounts of the political parties.
