This study was conducted to find the relationship between technical assistance and productive performance (output) of the country’s agricultural sector. For this purpose, a regression model was developed. Data obtained from the “Ministerio de Hacienda” and the 2014 “Censo Nacional Agropecuario” were taken into account. The data were differentiated by agricultural, livestock, and beekeeping sectors. In addition, to measure the level of technical assistance, the budget allowance and the number of people attended were taken into account; both at the municipal level. A total of 35 regressions were run; 29 for individual crops, 2 for aggregate crops by type, and 4 production lines in the livestock sector. The results showed that the budget allowance for providing the technical service has a positive correlation with all 3 lines of production in the livestock sector and that the proportion of people attended has a positive correlation with 6 transitory crops and 3 permanent crops.
