According to the Colombian constitution the members of the military institutions are unable to express their political opinions. Indeed is possible to affirm that they have constructed it, because of historical and sociological processes that have begun in the middle of the last century. Punctually, in relation to the actual peace process (that takes place between the Colombian state and guerrilla FARC) the study indicates that even if the senior military commanders agree in the importance of finishing the internal armed conflict, they also have many fears and worries about it, which are explained based on the processes that have influenced their political opinion.
