  • This work is the result of the participation in the First Winter School of Environmental Law: Climate Litigation at the University of Chile, a scientific poster was presented as a final work where the second instance sentence of the Colombian Council of State of July 6, 2023 was analyzed for an action of non-compliance with the Colombian Climate Change Law that sought the adoption of the necessary measures for the management of climate impacts generated by the coal sector within the framework of the climate change policy. The Administrative Court of Cundinamarca granted six months to the Ministries of Environment and Mines to comply with their climate commitments, which generates the need for institutional adaptation to comply with climate agreements and guarantee rights.
