This research presents an analysis of The New York Times' journalistic coverage of the peace process between the Colombian government of Juan Manuel Santos and the FARC guerrilla group. Specifically, from the content analysis, the thematic issues and the prioritized sources are identified in the newspapers´ information agenda, as well as the focus of its news and opinion articles on the peace process, published during the five years of the negotiation (from 2012 to 2016). The results of the following analysis make it possible to verify that this American newspaper decidedly supported the peace process in Colombia by showing the great opportunity that this project represented for the South American country, consulting various sources of authority in the field of the Colombian and international sphere to spread the advantages of this initiative.
