The following paper was carried out from the business mission to Panama in 2018. Its main objective is to analyze the competitiveness of the Port of Balboa. It begins by studying the context of the environment in Panama in which not only the main information of the country is taken into consideration but also the of the ports economy in Panama. To achieve the main objective, an analysis of the Port of Balboa is made. For this, the infrastructure of the port, key elements of its internal logistics and its operation, is taken into consideration. As a measuring instrument, indicators considered relevant and fundamental are chosen to measure the productivity and competitiveness of the port, comparing it with other important ports in the world. Finally, the work and the analysis performed are concluded.
