  • The consumers of genetically modified foods do not have a labeling that allows them to know the qualities, nutrients and risks of this type of food. The aim of this monograph is to determine what protection is available to consumers of GMOs, besides, to establish whether the actions of the legislator, judges and administrative authorities have guaranteed the right to information, free choice and adequate food.
