  • This work explores the interaction of a theatral group called Victus, formed by victims and ex combatants’ members which promotes reconciliation and memory. This theatrical project brings together 17 members, including civilian victims and former combatants from various armed groups such as the FARC, ELN, AUC, the military and the police. The research methodology is a qualitative case study, interviews, focus groups, participant observation, conferences, and file review were designed and carried out. The interactional process behind the play was reconstructed and seek out comprehend the meanings of reconciliation. It is emphasized that reconciliation and memory are imperfect processes of collective interaction. The theater it’s an instrument for building new ways of relating, diminishes prejudices and promotes a positive change about the understandings about the personal history of each one. The work from the theatrical performance is considered as a possible and necessary way for the community peace processes between victims and ex-combatants of the Colombian armed conflict.
