abstract

  • The information on the development of the coronavirus pandemic, is to a large extent and as I present it in my report, a set of untrue news, news mostly created to confuse and give false expectations about the spread of the virus. Research for truthful information is a challenge for all social communicators who are dedicated to disseminating truthful information, in such a way that our readers create a real concept of the facts and events that affect or modify history. In this thesis work, I focus on the false news of the coronavirus, so that our readers have an in-depth knowledge of how some people and the media handle information without carrying out an investigative process on the truth of the news to transmit. On the coronavirus pandemic, a lot of information has been disseminated through the different media and information channels, generating an excess of information, most of the time false, causing confusion and total misinformation. The interviews carried out with characters from different media such as journalists, university teachers and professionals from different branches, show the complexity of the social problem based on false news and the need to combat this social evil, that the only thing that has allowed is to greatly confuse the common reader.
