The Environmental Volunteering strategy of the District Secretariat of Environment (SDA) was mandated by Agreement 607 of 2015 with the objective of encouraging and recognizing environmental volunteering actions. Since then, it has supported environmental conservation efforts led by organizations concerned with the well-being of Bogotá's environment. However, the SDA's management lacks a structured program with a concrete action plan to implement. The city's Environmental Volunteering program lacks a monitoring strategy to measure its impact on the city's environmental problems or on the objectives of the secretariat. This document presents the diagnosis of the program's current state and the formulation of a plan to address these issues.
