The coffee harvesting activity is one of the Colombian agricultural activities that require greater participation of labor constantly in the different stages of coffee cultivation, but over the years this participation has decreased. Due to this, the main objective of this research is the elaboration of the sociodemographic profile of the coffee harvesting population in Colombia. In the research there are problems of all areas, the condition of participation and the continuity of the workforce in the coffee harvesting activity. Working conditions due to lack of subsidies, social security, low bargaining power, low pay, difficult access to education, lack of technology, infrastructure and logistics, access to information, skills the cultivation of coffee and social programs are influential factors when evaluating the benefit of being part of the coffee collectors in Colombia.
