abstract

  • To achieve an effective transition from the revolutionary armed struggle to democracy and electoral competition, the FARC-EP organized a political / electoral discourse centered on popular power. Through their historical trajectory in the insurgency, and the possibilities of transformation of the social order opened by this guerrilla in the peace negotiation in Havana, they claimed a place at the head of the entire popular movement as coordinators and architects of a constituent projectc derived from its possible victory at the voting box. These processes are addressed in this article by appealing to the analysis of the official announcements produced by the FARC-EP between 2012 and 2017, and contrasting their proposals with the complex realities of the relationship between this movement and political-social sectors such as feminist groups.
