The following project purports to explain how to realize the integration of marketing techniques and strategic community relationships, owing to the fact that organizations utilize community concepts. The principle strategies of marketing such as marketing mix, geomarketing, service marketing, relational marketing, and social marketing are analyzed. Marketing techniques such as direct marketing, product differentiation, market segmentation, market investigation, market intelligence, optimization of distribution channels, and electronic commerce are explained. Additionally, community strategies like coalitions, grass roots organizations, community leadership and empowerment are presented. The implemented methodology for this project is of the theoretical-conceptual type, and it combines the inputs of various scientific documents from diverse areas of knowledge. The sources of information, concepts, and theories were selected according to the investigator’s criterion in function with the descriptive possibilities of the proposed integration. In this investigation it is concluded that the techniques and strategies of marketing permit the communication between organizations and communities. This makes the existence of participation between both parts possible and is a key factor for the rise of the strategic community relationship. Realization of subsequent investigations about strategic community relationships, applied to organizations and communities is recommended.
