The article is the result of the ethnographic work carried out since the middle of 2015 with a group of women called the nurses of the church. This group constituted by some old workers of the Hospital San Juan de Dios has undertaken a process of resistance in the facilities of this hospital complex with the aim of visibilizing and rebuilding the memory that protects the institution in its more than 450 years of history The hypothesis that the researcher tries to defend is that the strategies of resistance to which these women go to build the memory of the Hospital, manage to move from the terrain of the daily life of each woman to the field of the active and collective.
