This document analyses the newscast of Colombian insurgent group FARC- EP, which was transmitted between 2014 and 2016, under the juncture of the Peace Process leaded by President Juan Manual Santos. Analysis focuses on the newscast structure, topic agenda and privileged frames, as well as the transformations that took place throughout the duration of the study. For those purposes, it was undertaken a characterization of the newscast from the point of view of the broadcast content and the semiotic analysis of images. By doing this, it was possible to establish that from the beginning, the information space was conceived as a television newscast, but as the time went by and the issues were transmitted, such information space changed in the presentation format and the structure, therefore becoming more formal. In addition, it was noted that the newscast topic agenda was closely involved with the Peace Process and that through the use of images, a new side of the FARC- EP was intended to show. Finally, it was noted that FARC- EP took good advantage from the electronic platforms for they were the most used means, privileging in that way their interests as a group.
