In the following text I try to show how “Hacker Ethics” and the principles for the defence of intellectual property can, together, explain the existence of a broad rejection of online copyright laws. With this purpose in mind, first I proceed to explain the principles and basis of those perspectives, then I show how they can work together and, finally, apply them to the current work/entrepreneurial/opinion realities . The main conclusion that can be drawn from this work is that, in spite of seeming that two opposite perspectives, they can be used together to produce laws according to the contemporary world.
