abstract

  • Today, companies are experiencing changes that are forcing them to evolve in their operation, thus opting for practices that benefit not only the company but also society, the environment and its participants. Those companies that do not implement these changes will tend to lose competitiveness and disappear in the long term. It is important for a company to know how to identify what practices it can integrate into its business strategies, eliminate hierarchical levels in the sense of any practice that is implemented involving all parts of the company such as customers, suppliers, partners, shareholders, collaborators, government, society and the environment. This document describes a set of good business practices in the mass consumption sector, specifically in the renowned multinational Bimbo, a company which carried out a face-to-face investigation at its facilities in Mexico City and the collection of public information in its databases, giving a context of the country in which, it is located, as well as the mass consumption sector and the company itself. We will identify examples of good business practices that are already being applied by this company today. A knowledge transfer proposal is also made, in which it is discussed how to replicate this type of practices in different companies from different sectors through the modeling or replication of strategies identified in Bimbo.
