The tanneries sector is a very traditional one in its processes because they are companies that have been led and managed by more than 30 years by the same manager, who it costs to make changes of all type, whether they are changes in the line of their products, in processes or even in the implementation of new technologies. It is a sector that has been difficult to accept methods required to lead cleaner and healthier processes in favor of the environment, either because they see them as a high cost both in its implementation and maintenance, or for their resistance to change. For this reason, this project is carried out in order to demonstrate the importance of implementing the reuse of chromium as a method that should be considered for the durability not only of Pinillarbe, but also of companies in the sector, because although with this method would be complying with legal requirements and saving money, directing Pinillarbe to the fulfillment of its objectives of differentiation and increase of production to satisfy the national and international market, its mission and vision.
