The Paris Agreement is a relevant international agreement to fight Climate Change. This research seeks to analyse the public policy instruments that Colombia has established to meet the goals acquired in the Paris Agreement. It will analyse the consistency of the public policy instruments established during the governments of former presidents Juan Manuel Santos and Iván Duque Márquez with Colombia's emissions profile and their goals. This case study, with a qualitative approach, describes the process of institutional incorporation of the Paris Agreement in Colombia. For greater understanding, the contextualisation of the Agreement, the legal basis and the legal framework that supports all of this.
