Evolutionary computation and especially genetic algorithms are increasingly used inorganizations to solve their management and decision-making problems (Apoteker &Barthelemy, 2000). The literature in this regard is growing and some states of art have beenpublished. Despite this, there is no an explicit work that assess in a systematically way the use ofgenetic algorithms on specific problems of international business (examples are internationallogistics, international trade, international marketing, international finance or internationalstrategy). Therefore, the purpose of this degree work is to make a state of the art of theapplications of genetic algorithms in international business.
