abstract

  • From the beginning of the organizations there have been rigid control models such as mechanistic and formal systems where the rational perspective stands out and human aspects are not taken into account in the design of the systems. These rigid, standardized and centralized control models determine a problem for the proper strategic and operational development of organizations. However, from the biological systems can be observed contributions of authors that highlight the absence of control and its consequent harmonic functioning through properties such as self-organization and emergency. Thus, this review article aims to identify the theoretical approaches that have been made around the main contributions that biological models have made to the management and specifically the organizational control through the analysis of the bibliographic production carried out in the Last 10 years
