This thesis aims to demonstrate and describe the different characteristics of the forklift on the market, considering its advantages and disadvantages, managing to analyze the feasibility of the implementation of electric forklifts in the Colombian industry from the information given on the essential characteristics of electric forklifts on the market. Also, you want to show that electric forklift generate substantial savings compared to conventional forklift there today in the market, thus achieving the Colombian industry would reduce its expenses as a percentage by implementing the new references forklift electric which would be an alternative for Colombian companies. Through a detailed conceptual review, the viability of electric forklift show compared to other types of forklifts, taking as its premise the knowledge of what today require Colombian industries, and thus meeting a detailed comparison where it emphasizes differentiation of electric hoists with other types exist and is achieved providing a clear perception of these along with the advantages of these vehicles to achieve and provide more information to the Colombian industry about the benefits of the implementation of electric forklifts in the Colombian industry .
