abstract

  • Those who are in charge of companies are leaders responsible for both positive and negative impact on society, the economy and the environment. But they don’t do it alone, under their scope there’s a large teamwork they have to encourage, support and potentiate. Therefore the importance of leader-follower type of relationship, the way they teach and learn from them, the teamwork capacity, delegation and empathy ability highlight the relevance of the way they lead (type of leadership). This paper will specifically address transformational leadership, a worldwide reference supported by academia and corporate world through theoretical and practical bases that provides a positive bond and offers a more effective perspective that translates into an increase in the levels of task performance, engagement and strengthens follower’s KSA.
