The purpose of this article is to describe the operation of the Corporate Social Responsibility Committee in the company Cerro Matoso SA located in Córdoba, Colombia. In order to accomplish this purpose, there have been defined and grouped indicators in four variables such as: Area Evolution, Strategic Platform, Labor Division and Labor Coordination. Through this study, it is pretended to identify key learnings related to the creation, design and execution of Corporate Social Responsibility models within enterprises. The outcomes show that the company does not have a specific Corporate Social Responsibility area; instead the company articulates all its initiatives and projects in a transversal way throughout the entire organization by a committee that involves all the company areas and the San Isidro Foundation. The whole projects of Cerro Matoso S.A are framed within BHP Billiton established standards.
