This degree work, aims to discover whether quality certificates, which can be regarded as a benefit or a hindrance to the development of companies, are the base of business success of micro, small and medium enterprises (MiPYMES) in Colombia’s capital distric. Based on experts in the subject and small businessmen and tradesmen testimony, it will be seen on first-hand an overview of the current reality of these organizations and, behalf on those experiences, establish whether if certification processes condition the progress of companies.
