Assistant professor with the Faculty of Political Science, Government, and International Relations at Universidad del Rosario in Bogotá, Colombia. I previously worked as a visiting assistant professor at the Bush School of Government & Public Service at Texas A&M. I graduated from the Department of Political Science at Yale University, where I qualified in comparative politics, political economy, and quantitative methods. My doctoral research examined the effects of civil war violence on social networks and how this influences post-conflict political inclusion, especially for women. I conducted fieldwork for my dissertation in Liberia and Sierra Leone.
My research has been supported by the Department of Defense Minerva Initiative, the Harry Frank Guggenheim Foundation, the National Science Foundation, and the Yale MacMillan Center for International Studies.
