Resumen
- Abstract Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy is a genetic disorder, characterised by left ventricular hypertrophy not explained by secondary causes, including non-dilated ventricle and preserved or augmented ejection fraction.1 Histologically, hypertrophic cardiac myocytes are observed that are disorganised, losing parallel alignment due to random orientation, and separated by wide areas of fibrosis.
