La Vicedecanatura de Investigación y Consultoría de la EMCS en una de sus actividades misionales, se encarga del seguimiento académico de los estudiantes de especializaciones médico-quirúrgicas. Este seguimiento consta del registro de su progreso en su trabajo de grado, el cual hace parte del requisito de investigación que estos estudiantes deben cumplir para poder graduarse satisfactoriamente y poder adquirir su título de especialización médico-quirúrgica. Este seguimiento es importante para poder generar un sistema de alertas tempranas con el fin de intervenir y apoyar a aquellos estudiantes que no están avanzando satisfactoriamente en su proyecto de grado.En este sentido buscamos desarrollar un algoritmo que permita caracterizar y automatizar este proceso administrativo, con el fin de poder tener información en tiempo real, actualizada, depurada y fidedigna para identificar a aquellos estudiantes con problemas o retrasos e intervenir oportunamente para que puedan cumplir con su requisito de investigación en los tiempos programados por cada uno de sus programas.
The Vice-Deanship of Research and Consultancy of the EMCS, in one of its mission activities, is responsible for the academic monitoring of students of medical-surgical specialisations. This monitoring consists of recording their progress in their degree work, which is part of the research requirement that these students must fulfil in order to graduate satisfactorily and acquire their medical-surgical specialisation degree.
