This report explores the dark intersection between prostitution and armed conflict in Colombia, highlighting how violence and forced displacement have pushed women and members of the LGBTI community into sexual exploitation. Through two stories—one of a woman in Cúcuta who ends up in Bogotá, and another of a trans woman in Riohacha who migrates to Cali—the deep vulnerability these individuals face is revealed. In addition to their testimonies, the report examines the responsibility of the state in the violation of their human rights. The report also includes the active involvement of two women in the fight against sexual exploitation.
