The beer industry in the city of Bogota is changing dramatically due to the demands of consumers, which are increasingly informed and have better tools for consumer decision-making, where motivation exceeds the desire to purchase and reaches aspects of the product experience and other issues, such as the final disposal of materials, enter into consideration at the time of purchase choice. And although traditional industrial beer is still the most consumed in Colombia, in recent years the consumption of craft beers has increased, this reality has generated the emergence of numerous craft breweries. However, there are high entry barriers in this industry and several small beer producers have problems along their supply chain, Aspects such as the management of raw materials, production capacity and distribution of finished products create challenges throughout their supply chain. This paper seeks to present the status of the supply, production and distribution links within the craft beer small producer´s supply chain in Bogota, in order to present proposals that help them increase their productivity and market share.
