The cranial navigation is a device that, through diagnostic images and 3D reconstruction, allows the surgeon to know where the lesion is and also how to approach it, thanks to the correlation that exists between the infrared camera and MDR (Dynamic Frame of Reference) . This correlation is often interfered with for various reasons, the most common being because the camera does not have sufficient height or degrees of freedom to allow finding the ideal position so as not to interfere with the location of healthcare personnel and / or other biomedical equipment. found in surgical rooms. Currently the company has a mobile support that does not have the portability of being freely transported, as well as the manufacturing material does not guarantee a correct cleaning to take to a surgical environment, it should be noted that it does not have sufficient degrees of freedom to achieve optimal MDR-camera correlation. For these reasons, this work aims to create a 3D design in SolidWorks, where the support has more articulation for the camera, in general it is more portable, ergonomic, and light, whose function is to transport and support all the accessories of the cranial navigation in a single unit. To achieve this, the design methodology was implemented where it began with the identification of needs, followed by a definition of the problem (target design specifications), synthesis (creation of concepts), analysis and evaluation of the prototype. Although the results are a 3D design, the software provides a close-up of the real world. The prototype satisfies all the needs raised according to the evaluation of the 3D design. It is worth mentioning that this project is a first phase in the implementation of a physical support since the optimization and construction phase has been being evaluated with expert companies in the area.
