Based on the database built from the Media and Public Opinion Observatory of the ECH-UR, two years of headlines published from 2018 to 2020 from the social network Twitter, on the media coverage of Venezuelan migration have been analyzed of the ECH-UR, we have analyzed two years of headlines published between 2018 and 2020 from the social network Twitter, on the media coverage of Venezuelan migration, showing the appearance of quantitative trends and confirmed in the analysis of semantic networks, has allowed to obtain a more complete understanding of the way in which the media frame the Venezuelan migration phenomenon in Colombia, which in turn shows how this phenomenon was actually permeated by the political agenda of the government in power rather than the complex realities that migrants and host populations live. Finally, it is highlighted that from a varied source of available media, three regional media were selected, among them, El Heraldo, Vanguardia and La Opinión (traditionally unknown in the analysis), which integrate regions of the country that have been strongly affected by the migratory phenomenon, either because they are border areas or close to them, observing how each media established a different editorial line between each one of them and in relation to the aspects explored throughout the study
