This monograph is about the teaching of contract law at the Universidad del Rosario to identify and classify the teaching methods that predominate in the context of lawyer's formation. The study focuses in the first part on education systems outside Colombia, specifically Germany, France and the United States. A Second section about the Colombian regulation on legal education and how these may affect the quality from our universities. Thirdly, the contents of three professors from the Universidad del Rosario are added and the corresponding analysis is carried out in accordance with the information given in the first two sections. The purpose of this writing is to generate reflection on legal education in Colombia and proposals to continue improving our system.
