  • PotencIA is an educational and innovative solution that addresses the challenge of underutilizing artificial intelligence in classrooms at Universidad del Rosario, specifically in students' argumentative writing activities. Developed in response to the need for enhancing Teaching in digitalized environments, PotencIA integrates critical thinking and argumentation with the responsible use of AI. We offer a gamified experience through a digital board, guided by the teacher, which includes instructions and rules for each phase of writing, as well as the option for customization in themes and evaluation rubrics. PotencIA highlights the importance of empowering students as protagonists in argumentation and writing activities, while effectively and responsibly leveraging AI capabilities. The teacher is present to provide support, address queries, and ensure the quality of the text and adherence to rules. We invite the educational community to actively participate in PotencIA's improvement and customization process, promoting its continuous evolution and adaptation to users' specific needs. For the future, we are committed to further enhancing PotencIA, tailoring it to the changing needs of the educational environment, and exploring new application opportunities in different disciplines and contexts, as well as leveraging other emerging tools.
