  • For healthcare providers, the acquisition of biomedical technologies is a complex process focused on improving quality and efficiency in the provision of services. Among these processes, technical and clinical evaluation, maintenance and training stand out, in order to maintain a cost-effective quality, guarantee the correct condition and operation of the equipment, as well as the appropriation and extensive knowledge of technology. In the Mayor Mederi University Hospital, biomedical technology is considered a fundamental axis for health care, for this reason a virtual training protocol is designed in the correct use of biomedical technology, this was done through the evaluation of the equipment emergency department physicians, the roles of healthcare personnel, applying surveys on the management of biomedical technology, and making virtual access material such as videos and quick guides, in order to provide a training tool that provides solutions to the needs of knowledge of the institution's staff, providing greater coverage, guaranteeing that all the employees are trained in the use of the equipment. For this, the schedules and the virtual environment will be taken into account, creating an ideal environment for the development of the main objective of the training.
