abstract

  • This project aims to provide guidelines to increase the scope of teaching development strategies at the Universidad del Rosario led by the Center for Teaching, Learning and Teaching Career (CEAP). The project follows an approach structured in three consecutive and complementary phases. Using a Scrum methodology, interviews were held with the CEAP leaders, Clara García and Milena Alcocer, to obtain a systemic vision of the problem. Based on the initial analysis, a gap is revealed in the participation of teachers in teacher development courses, attributed to the lack of knowledge about CEAP training opportunities. The limited dissemination of information emerges as a central challenge. A problem canvas and a value canvas are created, evidencing critical areas to address. The value milestones are divided into three phases: Strategic Information Analysis, in which we cover the review of evaluations of courses that had not been analyzed since 2018, the current state of the Center and its strategies are verified through surveys and focus groups to determine the diagnosis and proposals for routes and strategies are made to increase the visibility of the offer. The research is presented as an analysis from different perspectives to achieve a deeper understanding of the contribution of teacher development strategies to the Rosarista community and, therefore, demonstrate the importance of expanding its impact on an annual goal of 30% of the professors at the Universidad del Rosario.
