In Colombia, motherhood and its protection have evolved from jurisprudence and law, especially regarding the job stability that the working mother has prior to the moment of childbirth and after it; being subject to an employment contract, disfigured when the relationship is as an independent. Within the framework of the collaborative economy, which, although it is true is a great opportunity to optimize resources and generates economic growth through innovation, has not delved into those new forms of employment that arise and that go beyond the current labor regulatory context, differentiating maternity protection from a formal and informal relationship; leaving aside the contributions to the Comprehensive Social Security System in the context of the collaborative economy and with it, the impact and affectation of the financial support of the system.
