Empathy - A digital platform turning small acts into significant causes. A transactional digital platform with a social focus. A space for individuals in need of immediate assistance with seemingly simple matters that ultimately resolve pivotal situations in their lives. What sets it apart is the ability to reach each individual in a model called one-to-one funding. This allows those seeking support to make their needs visible through our web platform and, in the future, our app. Those willing to help can become part of the community and provide the expected support. Over the past two years, the project has been meticulously structured, with a trademark registration process underway, a domain acquired nearly a year ago, and the main social media channel created after a careful assessment to determine and understand market opportunities for a non-existent model. While there are foundations that may be similar, they dilute assistance due to the structures, amounts, and timelines they operate under, often catering to communities rather than individuals. With all this in mind, the platform will be web-responsive, offering a user experience designed so that each community member needs no more than five clicks to provide assistance. The process for those in need of help is similarly streamlined. Stringent security filters and identity validation will be implemented. It's important to note that contributions initially range from COP $10,000 to COP $100,000 only. The costs associated with these transactions, which will be how Empathy generates income for its operations, will be covered by the contributor. Transaction costs amount to 2.9% + $3,900 and will not reduce the aid to those in need. The transaction cost is fully transparent at the time of contribution. It is anticipated that by 2025, the growth will be such that it allows the recovery of the investment made with founders' own resources, calculated at approximately COP $100,000.000. Therefore, monthly transactions exceeding COP $250,000.000 must be generated.
