Este proyecto busca estudiar la migración transnacional de indígenas ecuatorianos pertenecientes a los grupos étnicos que generalmente se reconocen como Kichwa-Otavalo, provenientes de la provincia de Imbabura, Ecuador. El objetivo es enmarcar la población migrante que se relaciona con la ciudad de Bogotá (residentes de larga data, inmigrantes recientes, migrantes temporales y migrantes en situación legal irregular) dentro de las dinámicas más amplias que constituyen algunas de las redes migrato
This project seeks to study the transnational migration of Ecuadorian indigenous people belonging to ethnic groups that are generally recognized as Kichwa-Otavalo, from the province of Imbabura, Ecuador. The objective is to frame the migrant population that is related to the city of Bogotá (long-term residents, recent immigrants, temporary migrants and migrants in an irregular legal situation) within the broader dynamics that constitute some of the migratory networks.
