Esta publicación busca explorar cuáles fueron los procesos históricos y económicos que generaron los cambios y rupturas de los barrios aledaños al centro de Bogotá y qué impacto generan en el tejido social, sentido de pertenencia y patrimonio tangible e intangible de las comunidades. En este sentido, también vale la pena indagar de manera más puntual sobre el impacto de las operaciones o intervenciones urbanas en la estructura del barrio tradicional a lo largo de su historia y cómo estas pudieron propiciar rupturas y discontinuidades sociales y culturales. Gran parte de las necesidades y problemáticas hasta ahora identificadas están relacionadas con las transformaciones del territorio, generadas por hechos o hitos que parten de lo económico, social, político y que afectan el desarrollo de algunos de los sectores de la periferia del centro, por tanto es importante conocer los hechos que han generado dichas transformaciones, sus impactos, los territorios y poblaciones afectadas y la manera en que el desarrollo se ha visto afectado por estos cambios. Esta investigación busca recolectar y documentar información institucional y comunitaria como insumo para que pueda ser conocida, difundida, apropiada y protegida, incluyendo los bienes y comunidades que están detrás de estas historias barriales.
This publication seeks to explore the historical and economic processes that generated the changes and ruptures in the neighborhoods surrounding downtown Bogota and their impact on the social fabric, sense of belonging and tangible and intangible heritage of the communities. In this sense, it is also worthwhile to inquire more specifically about the impact of urban operations or interventions on the structure of the traditional neighborhood throughout its history and how these may have led to social and cultural ruptures and discontinuities. Most of the needs and problems identified so far are related to the transformations of the territory, generated by events or milestones that start from the economic, social, political and affect the development of some of the sectors of the periphery of the center, therefore it is important to know the facts that have generated these transformations, their impacts, the territories and populations affected and the way in which development has been affected by these changes. This research seeks to collect and document institutional and community information as input so that it can be known, disseminated, appropriated and protected, including the assets and communities that are behind these neighborhood histories.
