Mediante la propuesta investigación se pretende llevar a cabo un estudio del arte relacionado con la figura de la circunscripción especial en Colombia y explicar sus efectos en la representación política de las minorías, con el ánimo de recabar información sobre la funcionalidad, eficacia y conveniencia de la misma, así como captar la percepción de las minorías, de modo que se pueda proponer posibles soluciones o políticas destinadas al mejoramiento de la democracia participativa en Colombia.
Through the proposed research, we intend to carry out a study of the art related to the figure of the special circumscription in Colombia and explain its effects on the political representation of minorities, with the aim of gathering information on the functionality, effectiveness and convenience of the same, as well as capturing the perception of minorities, so that possible solutions or policies aimed at improving participatory democracy in Colombia can be proposed.
