La irrupción de procesos de modernización y modernidad ocurrida durante la primera mitad del siglo XX en Colombia, constituye una problemática compleja. Su análisis permite una comprensión integral de la configuración de los distintos roles a partir de los cuales se han formulado proyectos de estructuración de lo social, y por lo tanto, del modo en que los distintos actores que conforman el proceso, establecen una relación con la esfera de lo público, así como con órdenes primarios como la familia y los roles de género.Mediante un trabajo de investigación de tipo hermenéutico que trascienda las fronteras disciplinares, el presente proyecto tiene como propósito analizar el modo en que los cambios que experimentó la estructura social, la económica y la política a lo largo del siglo XX en Colombia, transformaron la disposición y el funcionamiento de los roles de género, centrándose en la trayectoria de algunos actores particulares del momento. A su vez, el proyecto busca enriquecer el ámbito de los “estudios de género” a partir de la incorporación de una perspectiva interdisciplinar, que le otorgue un justo lugar a procesos históricos de tipo social y cultural en el estudio de fenómenos que han alterado radicalmente los espacios de lo femenino y de lo masculino en la actualidad.Este proyecto hace parte de la línea de investigación “Historia, Cultura y Filosofía Políticas” del Centro de Estudios Políticos e Internacionales (CEPI), cuyo propósito es el estudio histórico, historiográfico, sociológico y filosófico de los procesos culturales a partir de los cuales se pueden comprender los problemas, creencias, prácticas e instituciones sociales y políticas contemporáneas. Tras dejar planteadas algunas respuestas y exploraciones académicas en torno a las transiciones experimentadas por los órdenes social y cultural en la sociedad antioqueña de mediados del siglo XX, con este nuevo proyecto el grupo se dispone a afrontar otros desafíos académicos, ampliando su horizonte de investigación a otros contextos regionales, trayectorias vitales y categorías de análisis.La investigación pretende además enriquecer el proceso de consolidación del semillero de investigadores de la Línea, vinculando un joven investigador egresado del programa de Ciencia Política y Gobierno. Igualmente, se pretende como producto final de la investigación, la elaboración de un artículo académico para publicación en revista indexada, así como de Working Pappers bajo la modalidad de Documentos Institucionales.
The irruption of modernization and modernity processes that occurred during the first half of the twentieth century in Colombia constitutes a complex problem. Its analysis allows a comprehensive understanding of the configuration of the different roles on the basis of which social structuring projects have been formulated, and therefore, of the way in which the different actors that make up the process establish a relationship with the public sphere, as well as with primary orders such as the family and gender roles.Through hermeneutic research that transcends disciplinary boundaries, this project aims to analyze the way in which the changes in social, economic and political structure experienced throughout the twentieth century in Colombia transformed the disposition and functioning of gender roles, focusing on the trajectory of some particular actors of the time. At the same time, the project seeks to enrich the field of "gender studies" by incorporating an interdisciplinary perspective that gives a fair place to historical processes of a social and cultural type in the study of phenomena that have radically altered the spaces of the feminine and the masculine at present.This project is part of the research line "History, Culture and Political Philosophy" of the Center for Political and International Studies (CEPI), whose purpose is the historical, historiographic, sociological and philosophical study of cultural processes from which problems, beliefs, practices and contemporary social and political institutions can be understood. After presenting some answers and academic explorations about the transitions experienced by the social and cultural orders in Antioquia's society in the mid-twentieth century, with this new project the group prepares to face other academic challenges, broadening its research horizon to other regional contexts, life trajectories and categories of analysis.The research also aims to enrich the process of consolidating the seedbed of researchers of the Line, linking a young researcher graduated from the program of Political Science and Government. Likewise, the final product of the research is intended to be the elaboration of an academic article for publication in an indexed journal, as well as Working Pappers under the Institutional Documents modality.
