Below is an unofficial translation into Spanish of the text of the ICJ ruling on the Maritime Delimitation in the Indian Ocean (Somalia v. Kenya), whose decision was delivered on October 12, 2021. The original text of the sentence can be consulted on the website of the cij. This translation is solely for disclosure purposes. There is no official version in Spanish of the judgments of the icj, these are issued only in its official languages: French and English, according to article 39-1 of the Statute. In addition, in accordance with what is ordered in paragraph 2 of the same article, in each judgment the icj determines which is the language in which it authenticates. In the present case it was English.
