abstract

  • Eco-innovation is a recently coined term that is slowly popularizing worldwide and is of great interest both for companies and consumers. This document describes the different actions and strategies that the company Reckitt Benckiser has applied to counteract the pollution it causes due to its industrial activity and discusses whether these actions are being effective and can be taken as an example by other industries in that same or other countries. The text initially presents an overall description of the company: its history, background and the different actions it takes against pollution. Then, two tools are used, DOFA and PESTEL analysis, to analyze whether these actions are eco-innovative and effective against the main objective, which is to reduce the environmental footprint.
