This project looks to research an unexplored field in musical research in Colombia and Bogotá: the working conditions of musicians. To do this, I analyzed the work experiences and perceptions on a varied sample of 8 musicians from Bogotá based on in-depth interviews. These interviews look to deepen on the working conditions of musicians (based on factors such as hours, income, association, satisfaction and autonomy) and their relationship with education (formal, informal or non-formal), types of funding and experience or track record in the music field.
